Fried Rice

INGREDIENTS
Kashish Basmati Rice (x 1 Cup)
Kashish Sunflower/Canola Oil (x 2 tbsp)
Medium sized Chopped Onion (x 1)
Garlic Cloves crushed (x 3)
Green Chilli (per taste)
Finely Chopped Carrot (x1)
Chopped Capsicum (x1)
Beans (handful)
Peas (handful)
Salt and Pepper (according to taste)
Soy Sauce (2 tbsp)
DIRECTIONS

Step 1

Add one cup of Kashish Pure Basmati rice to a bowl, cover it with water and soak for about 30 minutes.

Step 2

Drain and rinse it with cold water till it is clear.

Step 3

Add 2 cups of water to 1 cup of rice in a cooking pan.

Step 4

Bring it to the boil and simmer it for around 10-15 minutes. Remove the lid and leave it to stand for around 5 minutes.

Step 5

Take a non-stick pan and put Kashish cooking oil in it.

Step 6

Add the chopped vegetables i.e. garlic's, chillies, onions, carrot, beans, capsicum and peas and Saute well for about 2-3 minutes.

Step 7

Add the cooked Kashish Basmati Rice and mix the ingredients well (gently as to not break the rice grains).

Step 8

Add Salt, Pepper and Soya Sauce.

Step 9

Cook it on high flame for about 2-3 minutes.

Step 10

Then dish it up and serve nice and warm!
