Gajar ka Halwa Recipe

Step 1

Heat a pan, add 4 cups of shredded carrots and cook it well on medium to high flame until carrot starts to shrink.

Step 2

Add 3/4 cup of sugar and mix well.

Step 3

Once all the moisture is reduced from the mixture add 2 tbsp of ghee into the pan.

Step 4

Add 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder .

Step 5

Add 1/2 cup of milk and mix it well

Step 6

Once milk is reduced and the halwa is completely cooked switch off the gas

Step 7

Add finely chopped pistachios, almonds cashews & khoya into the halwa and mix well. Gajar ka halwa is ready to be served.
